Computer Science Pathway students gain knowledge of operating systems, compilers, and network distribution software used across diverse industries. They master the complete software development life cycle from requirements gathering and system design to coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. By developing proficiency in multiple programming languages, students learn to create, modify, and optimize code for high-performance applications. 
With skills in understanding computer systems' hardware and architecture, students can build efficient and scalable software solutions for the rapidly evolving technology landscape, leading to careers in hardware management, software, multimedia, and systems integration services.

Curriculum

Paired with our advanced academics in computer science, SETA students can receive a Certified Entry-Level Python Programmer (PCEP) Certification and Information Technology Specialist: JAVA Certification. The Computer Science course sequence includes:
